Resolved

I don’t do New Year’s resolutions. Not because I don’t think I can change, but because evaluation and change are a part of life. Because they are a constant and necessary part of being a grown human being.

Do I like my life? What do I like about it? What can I do to further those things?

What don’t I like about it? What can I do to minimize or mitigate those things?

What do I long for that I don’t have? What can I do to get closer to those goals?

What commitments have I made? Am I meeting the obligations I’ve incurred?

Do I appreciate the gifts and benefits given to me? Have I expressed that gratitude to the people who need to know?

Begin as you mean to go on.
