That was a convention!

After the first day of CONvergence, I spent most of Friday and Saturday with friends and family, and hence have little to report.

It was a most excellent convention, I assure you.

Oh, there was one icky thing. The MC of the Masquerade — the big costume contest on Saturday night — was not very good. His jokes were not only unfunny, they were of the vaguely offensive sort. My friends and I were watching the broadcast in a hotel room, and resorted to muting the MC every time he spoke. But that was a fairly trivial complaint.

Then Sunday I went back to work and was quietly resentful of this fact. Ah, well!
