I see the doctor again tomorrow. I am … cautiously optimistic? I have no frigging clue what he is going to say, or what I have to do next to fix my throat. I am on MASSIVE antibiotics that come with frightening warnings, but so far I have none of the side effects. I am on steroids. The two combined are making me feel a great deal better.

But I don’t know if I am actually getting better.

I expect the ENT will stick a camera up my nose again.

I am trying to not dwell on the fact that he described my throat as “friable”, with little hand gestures to indicate tissue sheeting away.

But in the meantime I feel pretty good.

And it’s not cancer.
