No news

I went to the Mayo Clinic.

They have no idea what is wrong with me, on a first intake exam.

They will pass my info around until someone sees something that looks familiar.

I am a wee bit stressed about this.

Onward.

They will figure it out. Putting an unknown case in front of a research physician is like giving a scent to a bloodhound. They will be talking with other doctors at Mayo and emailing their international colleagues saying “say, have you ever seen anything like this?”. It may take some time before they come back to you, but they won’t be able to let it sit.

On the happy side, the travel camper sounds like fun. V wants us to try a teardrop type camper. I’m looking forward to what you think when you take it for a real test.

  2. The Mayo is the best place for a problem like that. And Lynn is totally right about the interesting-problem-lookit-this aspect of it! People with that set of contacts are the best people to find known-but-rare problems.
