So I ordered an extra box of kale from our CSA, because KALE!

It arrived yesterday.


That was a lot of kale.

I spent the entire evening blanching and freezing kale.

  1. Sigrid – make kale chips! Shred the kale into chip-size pieces, toss it with olive oil, salt and (optional) nutritional yeast, then bake it at 400 degrees for 10 minutes, toss it around so it doesn’t burn, bake again for 10 minutes until crispy and delicious – you can eat a whole bowlful of kale in one minute when it’s like this (at least I can).
